The Israeli government claims that the Mt. Carmel inferno was caused
by a careless 14 year old Druse boy smoking a nargila waterpipe.

Maybe.

But let us note that the government of Israel is pursuing a "peace
process" based entirely on pretense and make-believe and has been
doing so for almost 2 decades.

And let us note one more thing. The Israeli government has enormous
financial motivation to pretend that arson was in fact accident!

Why?

Because under Israeli law, the government itself is responsible for
compensating all those who lost property or suffered damages as a
result of terrorism, including terrorist arson and deliberately set fires.

In the case of property loss due to an accidental fire, people simply
collect compensation from their own private insurance companies.
