Far Leftists showing Solidarity with the Murderers of the Itamar Babies

1. A Message from Julia Chaitin, Sapir College

Dingbette Galore! Sapir College's Julia Chaitin (social work) has a
New Song for Passover:

Dear all

I attach here some new verses that I wrote to a well known folk song
that we sing at the Seder… This is one of the wonderful things about
folk songs – we can add verses that reflect our times.

Feel free to sing and to pass it on to others who might want to sing it as well…
Chag sameach

Julia

Let their people go
(To be sung at the Seder, after Let my people go – same tune)
Julia Chaitin

We occupy Palestine
(Let their people go)
With checkpoints, sieges and arrests
(Let their people go)

Chorus:
Go up Bibi
Up north to Ramallah
Tell old Abbas
We'll let their people go

We've taken way all their rights
(Let their people go)
We terrify them day and night
(Let their people go)

Chorus
Go down Bibi
Way south to Gaza Land
Tell Haniyeh
That we will lift the siege

If we want to protect OUR rights
Let their people go
And have some peace, not endless fight
Let their people go

Chorus
Forward - Bibi
Make peace with Palestine
Honor our Moses
And let their peoples go

Israeli Left's Solidarity with Itamar Killers

by Maayana Miskin
Follow Israel news on and .

Shortly before the IDF revealed the identities of the two murderers of
five members of the Fogel family, activists with the extreme Israeli
left went to visit one killer's family – and condemn Israel for
detaining him.

Members of Women for Peace (Nashim L'Shalom), Gush Shalom, and Adam
Lelo Gvulot traveled to the Palestinian Authority-controlled village
of Awarta, next to Itamar, where the IDF had been conducting intensive
investigations into the recent attack.

"The atrocity we saw in the home of Mohammed Awad can only be
described as a pogrom, as primitive and brutal revenge aimed at
putting fear in residents' hearts," activist Yaakov Manur wrote of the
visit one week ago. "The father, 45-year-old Mohammed, his son Majdi,
20, a third-year student in university, son Amjad, 19, a second-year
student at university, and Hakem, 17, were arrested."

Amjad, 19, was later revealed to be one of the murderers. He and
fellow murderer Hakim Awad told investigators they had received help
and support from their relatives after murdering Udi and Ruti Fogel
and their children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4, and Hadas, three months old.

The leftist activists apparently did not realize that the Awad family
was involved in the murders, and simply believed the family's claims
that Israel was treating them badly for no reason.

The Yisrael Sheli (My Israel) Movement said Sunday that the leftist
groups had crossed a line. "The time has come to make leftist groups
that support murderers illegal. Whoever supports baby killers has no
place in a democratic society," the group said in a statement.

"Leftists groups' encouragement for terrorists, which joins the
Palestinian Authority incitement, and author Amos Oz's support for
murderer Barghouti, ultimately creates human monsters like the
murderers from Awarta."

MK Michael Ben-Ari (Ichud Leumi) called on Attorney General Yehudah
Weinstein to investigate the groups that went to Awarta to provide
support to the terrorists' families. "By their acts, they incited to
violence," he wrote.

He added, "Today we see the extreme Left's true face. These are their
friends, these are the people they defend!"

MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) said the Israelis who expressed solidarity
with the Awad family had reached a moral low. "They cannot comfort
their brothers in Itamar, but run to show solidarity with the enemy,"
she said.

Dean at Ben Gurion University attacks Donors to his Own School

Above, leftwing McCarthyist and enemy of freedom of speech for
non-leftists, David Newman
The Hysterical Leftist Opponent of Freedom of Speech, David Newman,
Dean of Social Sciences and Humanities at Ben Gurion University,
attacks Donors to his Own School!

And defends far-leftist anti-Israel campus indoctrination!

We recently reported the fact that Ben Gurion University was about to
hold a one-sided anti-Israel Nuremberg Rally, in which no pro-Israel
speakers would be allowed to speak. In the Jerusalem Post, BGU's Dean
of Social Sciences David Newman DEFENDS that Nuremberg Rally and
attacks those who express disapproval of it!

How dare anyone criticize extremist anti-Israel academics!!! Newman
forgot to mention that Zionists and non-leftists are prohibited from
teaching in his own Department of Politics at BGU!!

Newman claims that people like Martin Buber would today be prevented
from teaching at Israeli universities (because of the evil
non-leftists running around the country!). In a sense, Newman is
correct. Buber and his friends could never teach politics at Ben
Gurion University because they would be too Zionist!! Newman then
bad-mouths and smears the donors to his own school!!

Here is an excerpt from Newman's latest rant:
Were it not for the employment laws of the state relating to tenure,
there is a growing feeling among the faculty that some could have been
dismissed for expressing their views. Many believe that freedom of
expression on Israeli campuses is facing the strongest challenge since
the establishment of the Hebrew University back in the 1920s. No
doubt, in today's environment, Martin Buber, Judah Leon Magnes or
Yeshayahu Leibowitz would have been fired if the present donors and
politicians had their way.

The thought police of the extreme rightwing has grown in strength in
recent years. It includes sites such as Campus Watch and Isracampus,
well-funded organizations like Im Tirtzu and NGO Monitor, whose
objectives are to prevent freedom of expression among all those who do
not share their fortress view of the world. For them, anyone who
believes in such values as peace, human rights or the universal values
of Judaism are collectively labeled as traitors, anti-Zionists and
enemies of the Jewish State. In scenes reminiscent of darker days,
they send their representatives into universities to record lectures,
which are then selectively edited, published on their web sites and
used as ammunition to impose an extreme rightwing agenda on public
discourse.

The attempt by my own university to prevent a conference on human
rights from going ahead last week, and its refusal to allow the
conference organizers to use the Senate Hall for the main session, was
a knee-jerk reaction to this form of pressure.
